On behalf of B.C.O. Commercial Developments, WND prepared a number of conceptual site development options for an 11 hectare site within the Central Business District (CBD) of the Town of Milton, Ontario. A development options report was prepared to advance a land use planning and urban design framework which had regard to the principal objectives of the municipality regarding the CBD and examines alternative responses to those objectives. The prominent location of the site at the eastern "gateway" to Milton's downtown, along with its location as one of three nodes within Milton's downtown, provided an important opportunity to build upon the Town's intended commercial function for the CBD by expanding the availability of complementary commercial uses to attract commercial market opportunities and shoppers into the downtown.
