Tower Hill, is the location of a well planned residential intensification project on an underutilized parcel of land adjacent to the St. Clair West Subway Station in the City of Toronto. WND, along with a number of other advisors, was responsible for facilitating planning approvals for the proposal which featured a 19-story, 300 unit residential building to be located in the surface parking area of an existing 23-story residential building. Careful attention was paid to the massing and built form of this project, and the resultant curved point-tower design of the proposed building provides a clear transition to lower-rise areas to the north while minimizing the loss of privacy and sunlight on surrounding uses. The location of the project offers a significant opportunity to achieve residential intensification in proximity to the City's public transit system.
