As part of public sector development, specialized studies are often sought by municipalities and other levels of government to ensure adequate consideration of special resources, land characteristics and unique circumstances. WND has been responsible for conducting and preparing a myriad of specialized studies, including Housing Policy Statements, Aggregate Resource Policy Reviews, Development Charge Studies, Transportation Studies, Urban Growth Studies, Urban Design Guidelines, Business Improvement Area Plans, Annexation Analysis, Urban Area Boundary and Rural Area Analyses, as well as Development Strategies.
